What do you love most about Sydney?

Sydney is a city that never stops! No matter what time of the year it is, you can be sure there is an event taking place, be it the International Kite Festival at Bondi, the Music & Art Festival in the funky suburb of Newtown, the Chinese Spring Festival at Haymarket, or the incredible New Year’s Celebrations in the Port.

What will you smell, see and hear in your destination?

The chirping of the colorful wild birds in the Botanical Gardens and the smell of the Jasmin bushes signifies the start of spring. In summertime, the smell of sunscreen and sausages sizzling on the BBQ is synonymous with relaxation and fun days at the beach. Even on an overcast day, you will find yourself mesmerized as the Opera House sparkles and shines light across the harbour.

Your Top 3 Recommendations?

  1. Active SydneyMy advice to anyone arriving into Sydney is to get out and about. A particular favorite of mine is the 12km Coogee to Bondi cliff top coastal walk, which takes in some of the most beautiful scenery along the Eastern Suburbs.  On a clear winter’s day you’ll often see whales in the ocean!
  2. Bondi Beach – Get on some sunscreen and relax on the beach, perhaps enjoying some local BBQ cuisine and a cocktail at the Bondi Icebergs Bar overlooking the bay. Alternatively, rent a surfboard and catch some of those world famous waves.
  3. Take in the Sights – Explore the downtown area and famous sights; walk across the Harbour Bridge, take a selfie at the Opera House, chill out in the Royal Botanical Gardens or get a drink in the ultra-trendy “The Rocks” district.

Any new or exciting services in Sydney?

An exciting new tour that is sure to make the hearts of even the most ardent adrenaline junkies race – climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge! I loved the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, which will test your mettle during the ascent, but if you manage to overcome your fears, you’ll be rewarded with the best view of Sydney harbour!
