Intercruises was the UK Logistics Partner for the CLIA Summit at Sea, a 4-day event attended by over 165 senior cruise industry figures. The local teams in Southampton and London organised Debark Tours, Airport Transfers and various private arrangements as the ship arrived in Southampton following two days at sea after leaving Hamburg.

During the event itself, the Intercruises team were also highly involved, with Serafin Blazquez, Global Port Agency Manager, speaking as part of a panel discussing Future Port Infrastructure Requirements, while Olga Piqueras, Managing Director and Ramon Hurtado, Global Product & Operations Manager, kicked off a lively discussion regarding shore excursion development in a congested environment. Olga was also invited on stage during the final day to speak to all attendees, joining Bo Larsen from CLIA in closing a very successful event.

Intercruises works closely with CLIA and has been the organization’s Official Logistics Partner at events in Barcelona, Tenerife, London and now Southampton. Intercruises will also be supporting CLIA at the Port & Destination Summit in September in Hamburg, just prior to Seatrade Europe.
